Our Story
Founded in 2024, Florida State Elevator — based in Central Florida — was built to bring a more accountable, customer-focused standard to the elevator industry.
After more than 25 years in the field, including 22 years with a major multinational provider, Jeff Stuebe saw the same issues become normalized: slow response times, poor communication, and rising costs — often leaving property owners with little visibility and even less control.
Florida State Elevator was created as a direct response to that reality. The company operates with a clear philosophy: deliver reliable service, communicate clearly, and price work fairly — without the layers, delays, or ambiguity that have come to define much of the industry.
Today, Florida State Elevator provides elevator, escalator, and lift services throughout Central Florida, combining deep industry expertise with the responsiveness of a local, accountable team.
In 2024, Melissa Elgin, Director of Administration, stepped away from a successful 14-year career as a Registered Nurse to lead the company's operations. She brings a structured, detail-oriented approach to client communication and coordination, reinforcing Florida State Elevator' commitment to professionalism, safety, responsiveness, and trust at every touchpoint.
